Stiles and rails are milled from western softwoods that are treated with a preservative to protect against water and insect damage.

Glazing
Standard glazing is 3/4" dual-sealed tempered insulating glass. We recommend that you consider our LoE2 super insulating glass. This glazing option combines an air space filled with Argon gas with a transparent LoE2 coating on the glass. This combination provides superior thermal performance, and helps protect interior furnishings from harmful ultraviolet rays.

Extruded Aluminum Cladding
Semco offers heavy-duty extruded aluminum cladding in both standard and custom colors. Extruded aluminum cladding, unlike roll-formed cladding, produces a thicker extrusion that ensures better performance in the field.

Nailing Fin
Our patented nailing fin, standard on all aluminum clad units, folds flush with the unit to eliminate damage while the unit is in transit. Once on the job site, it snaps into place and remains rigid to facilitate easy instal-lation.

Hardware
Concealed tandem rollers, with leveling adjustments, ensure easy operation. All hardware is manufactured from the finest materials. Hardware colors: Chrome, White, Bright Brass, and Antique Brass.

Simulated Divided Light (SDL)
All aluminum clad units and primed units are available with the SDL option. On aluminum clad units, the color finish is baked on. On primed units, the exterior metal is primed with a quality primer. All SDL units have extruded aluminum muntin bars to the exterior and solid wood muntin bars to the interior. All muntin bars are permanently bonded to the glass surface with a high quality acrylic bonding system. Muntin bars are available in your choice of 7/8" or 1-1/4" widths. This option is available with or without internal spacer bars.

Authentic Divided Light (ADL)
Available on primed units only with muntin bar widths of 7/8" and 1-3/8".

Grilles
A distinctive touch can be achieved through the use of any number of grille options. Specify solid wood full surround or stick grilles, or colored aluminum grilles in the air space.

Sill
Specially designed one-piece sill keeps water to the outside and provides an effective thermal break.

Screens*
Standard screens have a durable fiberglass mesh and slide effortlessly on recessed ball-bearing rollers. Screen frame is available in Bronze, Taupe, and White. Screens are also available with a sturdy aluminum mesh.
