II. Windows 98 Operations (Software)
Students should know the Microsoft Windows 98 graphical user interface and the Microsoft Office 2000 applications. Students should know how to start Windows 98, the components of the desktop, and the six mouse operations. They should be able to open, close, move, resize, minimize, maximize, and scroll a window. Windows Explorer should be used to select and copy a group of files, display the contents of a folder, create a folder, expand and collapse a folder, and rename and delete a file and a folder. Students should know how to obtain help about using Microsoft Windows 98 and how to shut down Windows 98.
